When Link disappeared off to find Navi, he never came back. The Hero never returned.

And in approximately 100 years, the Great Floods began. [this is according to my understanding of events!]

I’ve always wondered where Link has gone.
How Zelda feels about being deserted.
How the atmosphere may have changed during his absence.
