Originally the neck was even more noodly and much, much longer but I changed it so it’s less creepy body horror :’)
Turns out noodly necks looks too creepy for me.

On my Crossy Road marketing art
Note that sometimes I do my own fanart, concepts and experiments (like the above) as I work on Crossy projects. It’s not necessarily expected. I can’t do this for every project update, there’s no deadlines and it’s self directed.
I do it because I wanted to for fun, got inspired and I treat it as professional learning and practice.
And sometimes things become official HW marketing art and not just fanart (if it fits)! And marketing and artist peeps have their own planned creations/art/videos to publish, manage and juggle too! I’m just doing bonus extra art things.
Generally I don’t know if there’s much time/space/downtime for me to do marketing illustrations and fanart – especially when I don’t know if I have other things to juggle at any given time. Who knows! Downtime between projects to do official marketing art doesn’t happen often and I don’t know how long I have. So I make the most of it haha
All the same I’m not the only one doing art for Crossy Road things! We have an inspiring art team (5 other great artists) who are incredible and hard working at the many art, design, UI and 3D animation things they do for Crossy projects! Plus there’s probably fanartists out there :0
As always, I’ll do fanart if I feel like it, want to and if I can do it. I actually have a lot planned (whoops 5 pages??) and sketched out recently. But I don’t know if I have the time to do them all…have to choose :’)

Side note on my tiny discord:
I’ll still share random things at my little discord but I have removed the gaming and entertainment channels because I don’t want to focus on discussing, moderating and sharing in those, I want to scale down on social channels, keeping it more casually professional in content and language, keeping it more on the artistic/creative side of things (I don’t want social/recreational to take over art as it is already), moderation stresses me out and also there’s some things I’m not comfortable with. I don’t want to discuss or be asked/brought up about it further and I hope to move on.
For now I’ll keep the music, wholesome and general chat channels + my creative channels category since it’s pretty quiet and chill (almost everyone is lurking haha). Yeah I don’t have artists sharing anything on my channels – I’m too small so it’s still essentially a notifications server :’)
Anyhoo I am doing short blog posts when I’m tight on time! I shall end this here!
