SuperLeonieMode: Self hugs, love and care! πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’–

Reminding myself that even though things feel scary, uncertain, stressful, depressing, confusing and isolating, I need to remember to take care, slow down and be kind and understanding with myself :’)

Yes do try hugging yourself and stay present with the feeling of your own embrace for a while (: It definitely feels weird but somewhat comforting, warm and supportive too – at least for me during winter! ;D

Lately I’ve been pretty tired, had some mood swings, am lacking in sleep, got stressed out at times and I feel like I want to curl up into a ball :’) Gave myself recovery time and ate chocolate to help a bit! Consequently I wasn’t able nor feeling well enough to finish what I originally intended to post today. So I’m posting this one early instead!

How are you taking care of yourself at the moment? Or ways to ensure that it’s a regular thing? Feel free to share ideas! I hope to summarise answers into next week’s blog post (keeping answers anonymous)!

  1. I don’t think I’m taking as good of care of myself as I could be, but something I’ve tried to start doing is making sure I’m drinking enough water. It’s a small thing, but being hydrated means less chance of a random headache, and I don’t feel quite so tired all the time.

    • Drinking enough water is very important and helpful! It’s great you’re taking care of yourself.
      I’ve started to drink 3 cups of tea each day now myself and that’s also calming too (:
