- Baby Stomach Surgery – no.
- Surgeon Simulator 2013 Space Update
- Buzz
- Cho Aniki 2 Electric Boogaloo – um I don’t understand….? Wow
- Films…did not plan to but I saw the Journey to The West 2013 loose adaptation by famed Stephen Chow and I was surprisingly engaged all the way (though I didn’t know what I was watching at the time and let’s ignore the copied CG scene). Huge mature/violence warning and themes despite the extremely abrupt exaggerated comedy style Stephen brings. Or maybe it’s my Journey to the West story nostalgia speaking.
- This is thanks to the cult classic of A Chinese Odyssey where Stephen himself was the lead role as well as how my childhood was full of the corny, lighthearted Journey to the West TV series. Personally, I’m not a Buddhist/Taoist as I’m more of an Agnostic. To me, this story is essentially a fantasy, fun, adventure, mythical one; all about the long journey, lessons, trials and tribulations whilst obtaining and retrieving sacred texts from their destination). I enjoy engaging with cool mythical and stories of lore (wherever they come from), packed with meaning to take from them or emotions to be felt from them, loosely but believably weaved into history.
- There are so many adaptations of this story but few do it really well packed with life lessons and with developed characters whom you care about (aka a good storytelling ride). Or at least executed in an entertaining way.
- CRAWL: I am terrible playing as the monsters. Played some more CRAWL with my bro and a CPU as we try to unlock more things. Four playthroughs of this version thus far; looking forward to more in the future official release.
- RIP Robin Williams and Thoughts on Health of the Mind: I am still stunned and in disbelief. Thank you Robin, for everything you’ve given and shared with us.
- As a comedian David So says; true, relatable comedy is deep rooted from pain and anguish. We joke and laugh because we understand, we emphasise, we’re making light of our misfortunes, the human condition and things we’d never say in any other situation. The laughter and the giving of joy lifts some (if not most) of the pain and burden and it helps us move on sometimes. But sometimes this is not enough to the point that it becomes all an act, a facade of being the “not to be taken seriously, fun, confident, joking guy/girl”. But inside, all you’re left with is the vicious cycle of despair, pain, entrapment, hopelessness, meaningless, self loathing and questioning your existence. This is what we need to watch out for in ourselves and in our friends as these feelings ultimately must be faced, not ignored and dismissed. I can probably ramble more about it but I’ll hold it off for another time.
- To think I was mulling over mental health to various degrees in my reflection sections. Heaps of people are discussing this and I’m adding to it (it’s my blog after all) but if we’re looking a positives, we’re bringing up awareness. In light of mental health in general…
- Check by with a good friend you haven’t spoken to for ages and ask if they’re okay and that you’re there for them. Only if they want to talk about it, only if they feel comfortable around you and trust you enough then just listen and let them ramble. Really listen. Or if they just want your shoulder in silence, that’s completely fine too.
- Or perhaps you have something you want to vent or ramble about or you just want someone to be there for you, to lean on. It won’t be easy but find like-minded spirits, people who are currently going through the same thing or have leaped to the other side. Arguably we’re all leaping from one stone to the next, whatever stage in life we are.
- Reach out as you never know what others are going through or there are people out there who had the same experiences you do and understands you. Physically in space you may be, but you are not alone in experience and emotions. Usually we live too strongly within our own minds and fail to see things objectively without being aware of it.
- Having done so on both sides of the fence (talking to someone you trust) I must say it helps, however little it feels at the time. At least it’s out of your system. Sometimes things become clearer towards a long term solution after some discussion too.
- Warning/Please Note: I don’t claim to be an expert on mental health so please see an expert if you really need advice – the above is extremely generalised. These are just my thoughts on the topic. We need to take care of our minds and well being.

Reflection for the Week
Not as much as I would have liked this week.
Welp a lot of ladies though there is one guy! I need to draw more guys next time hohoI might write more on the well being of the mind in a future post. But I stress that I’m speaking only based on what I know and have experienced as a socially awkward individual and as someone leaping into the ever changing creative industry. I don’t claim to understand what I haven’t experienced.

What I do know is that no one feels 100% fine throughout their whole lives; so respectfully watch out, help, cheer up, just be there and care for those close to you.
We’re all tackling our own battles…summarily known as Life. (:
