Helping you out Hoodie
I think it’s safe for me to post this up now. I actually did this design back in May 2012 for a competition, results of the competition came out in early July, got printed in late July and worn by volunteers probably in the past week. One thing I must note is that the shown designs and arrangement above were not made into
hoodies though technically I won the prize.
Thrilled to have won the prize anyhow!! Hooray! (:
I thought I should post up my original however so…
This is the original design I submitted where one person (representing the volunteer) is helping the other person get up to join him/her in the circle (which represents a sense of belonging and what the role of the volunteers are essentially).
The person in white’s right arm also represents the “1” in the “2012” and the circle and the word “HOST” will together read out as “O HOST” as in Orientation Host. Colours have been limited to two excluding the red of the hoodie.
I’m not going to give details who/what/where this is designed for in this public post, as I don’t know whether I am allowed, but I can say some people will be able to join the dots and deduce it for themselves. I won’t be able to see the hoodies in person anyway but I shall be on a lookout for photos.
Been busy with new things to learn!
So no more silly scribbled drawings with tacked on stories, at least for now!
