LoZ Skyward Sword Portraits VII: Guardian of Time & notes

Hey there!

In the past few months I increasingly cannot deny that I should do my comics digitally [at least for the colouring] as completely traditionally drawn comics [at least by me] do not look good on a computer screen [not saying that it looks brilliant in the first place of course; I’ve still got much to go] as well as it does in person and do not catch the attention of web viewers as well as digitally coloured and/or drawn comics do [unless you are already a professionally skilled traditional artist; which I am not!]. It makes me think I’d need to put even more effort to each thing I do and strive for quality and not quantity. Still, I am still self studying traditionally in drawing before I think I should go for digital methods. But I am impatient all the same!!

Okay, moving onto the art today….Did this on the 17th of December 2011.
It’s based off a photo by krutainis in this figure drawing resource [I can’t directly link to it]: http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/figuredrawing.php

I started these portraits, intending to practice and Skyward Sword kept me motivated. (:

This is the seventh one I did. There’s still so much mystery about this lady. First incarnation of Impa perhaps but Nintendo can always add more before & after her.

There is only one more to come on next Fun Friday. See this tag [Skyward Sword Pencil Portraits] for the rest of the series.

Some scattered watercolour doodling on normal paper hence the wrinkling
