Hey the Wood Snake is out now!! 🌸

Last year I preemptively I pushed for and created this character knowing that we’d probably do it for Lunar New Year.

Plus things gets super busy with lots of shenanigans during the first several months of the year :0!!

Didn’t need iterations for this snake and the team got this character rolling in game yay!

I wanted to draw them sleeping and smiling while surrounded by the warmth of lanterns and colourful petals. Just chill, safe, comfortable, slow and happy in their own space <3 A place to belong…! :’)

This is the last Crossy Road 2D illustrated fanart that I’ll do in my own time.

Or if I’m ever doing illustrations for work. Again marketing art will most likely be 3D where I get to practice and learn Blender further as a forever self appointed 3D newbie.

Maybe I’ll do quick sketches…no promises since it depends on time, interest and energy levels.

Also I decided against doing a timelapse for this piece since I don’t want to have much Crossy Road videos on my own youtube channel anymore from here. I don’t want to be the unofficial Crossy Road marketing place either – please go to the official places and discord which have bigger audiences than I ever do anyway haha

Little personal update

It’s annoying that the bluesky plugin failed to post to bluesky so I’m back to manually cross posting there and then running away haha. Just when I felt good to not log in and check my bluesky!! I don’t think I’m missing too much because I feel like most people aren’t as active unless they’re posting to update and/or market themselves (and my feed cuts off at a certain point so I can’t scroll forever).

All the same I’m still sticking to crossposting, skimming through my notifications and running away so close enough ;P

With the current sumo tournament, there’s just no yokozuna contender right now but we can hope for Ozeki Hoshoryu! Ozeki Kotozakura is injured and not doing to well. A lot of interesting matches overall! It feels like one is dominating this basho though.

I’m dealing with cramps/pain still (that I want to curl up at times), mouth burn gum pains (thanks terrible hot and suspicious mediocre food), sore shoulders, jaw aches and back of my head pain/ache right now wah. Why 🙁

As mentioned in past posts…lots of cleaning to do and life routine changes in the months ahead and various things that make me anxious so all I can do is do my best :’)
