Rambling about making this video

For the commentary, this time I typed up roughly what I wanted to say at a wordpad file and just recorded reading and rambling off the cuff from that. And doing some takes. I wasn’t trying to be perfect as I was more focused on getting it done.

And doing silly things with my avatar ;D

I guess it works? I don’t know as I test things with this video!! Eep! I had to go over the audio and the video several times editing, breaking it down, testing and processing it.

Gosh I spent time learning and doing some more shenanigans with the making of this video.

Youtube video making is super time consuming and is hard work!! This is why I wasn’t rushing to do videos like this.

And it’s been a struggle trying to get my old Premiere CS6 program export shorts but I kinda worked it out how after many failures in making it the dimensions I want – the internet only had information for the latest subscription version.

I did try Capcut last year but deleted it when I learned that it’s good, free and by people who do tiktok. I feel like there’s a catch to make tiktoks + the fact that I can’t unsubscribe/remove my email from their records. And I am not sure if I want to fully lean into making short video content. I’d rather keep it as an extra/bonus thing.

I can’t do “auto” subtitles so I’ll just let Youtube auto caption it terribly since manually doing subtitles adds more hours to the workload. Making high quality videos on a regular basis is a full time job!!

I’m not in the groove with it yet either.

I’ll get the hang of it someday?? Make a mix of low and high effort videos? Haha

I think not much people will read these blog posts; assuming they’d go straight for the video since I’m linking that on social media. I’m just rambling about video making here haha
